Lab Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Blood Component Laboratory Technician. This is an entry-level position that requires flexibility with scheduling, including core hours on the second shift (Monday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm) and rotating weekends and holidays.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. A background in healthcare is preferred, with experience handling and processing blood specimens. The ideal candidate will possess basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Performing tasks related to manufacturing, quality control, and inventory management of blood products.
- Conducting moderate complexity testing in compliance with CLIA requirements.
- Maintaining laboratory records and following established policies and procedures.
- Identifying errors in blood product manufacturing and implementing corrective actions.
This role also requires the ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
