About this Role

This position is responsible for performing revenue recognition processes from contract inception through general ledger reconciliation for assigned client portfolios.

The scope of this role includes financial accounting, revenue analysis, and compliance to GAAP ASC 606 and IFRS 15, as well as corporate policies. Familiarity with multiple-element arrangements is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure business and financial close requirements are met
  • Understand, improve and manage the contract approval process from proposal through signature
  • Perform month-end closing tasks, journal entries and reconciliations for assigned clients
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including variance analysis
  • Support external and internal audit processes.
  • Maintain deferred cost analysis.
  • Analyze client margins

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Public accounting combined with industry experience is preferred
  • Experience working together with sales finance & operational teams to forecast financial results and revenue recognition treatment
  • Experience with US GAAP (ASC 606) and IFRS (IFRS 15) revenue recognition rules (software company/IT service company experience a plus)
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work in a hybrid mode from office

Education & Professional Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
