Job Title

This role is an opportunity to join our team as a Desktop Management Specialist, where you will provide on-site support for desktop management and other hardware-related tasks. You will be responsible for delivering hands-on IT support to business customers, ensuring that their equipment is functioning smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with our Global Service Desk (GSC) to handle user requests and ensure services meet agreed-upon SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Your main responsibility will be to provide onsite IT support for desktops, installing, moving, upgrading, or decommissioning equipment such as PCs, laptops, printers, and servers.
  • You will oversee the tracking and auditing of IT assets, both hardware and software, following our global processes.
  • Server and LAN support are also key aspects of this role, including troubleshooting and supporting server housing and LAN cabling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (XP and newer versions), strong troubleshooting skills with PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals, basic server and network troubleshooting, familiarity with Active Directory and file/print services, knowledge of office applications (MS Office, Exchange/Outlook).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to manage and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Business Awareness: Understands the importance of IT services to business operations and customer satisfaction.
