About this role:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background in Windows server environments and specific knowledge in Hyper V, VMware, Veeam, Server Operating Systems, and Citrix.

The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with technical teams to achieve continuous improvement across various compute platforms.

Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot incident and complex problems to ensure customer SLAs are met
  • Collaborate with Senior IT Staff to optimize server infrastructure performance and assure security in a high availability environment
  • Support the installation, configuration, and operation of the Windows server environment
  • Participate in the application of security patches
  • Collaborate with Cyber team to track and resolve all security vulnerability findings within appropriate timeframes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 configuration, patching, and security hardening experience
  • Knowledge of CITRIX Technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, VDA, VDI)
  • Proven experience in an enterprise-scale engineering or relevant discipline
  • Troubleshooting Skills for Hardware, Software and Networking Issues
