Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a senior engineer, you will lead the development of advanced control systems for locomotives. This involves designing and implementing algorithms to meet customer requirements while ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and validate control system designs to ensure they meet technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other locomotive subsystems.
  • Conduct simulation testing and participate in locomotive testing to verify vehicle control performance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical/electronics/control systems engineering.
  • Significant experience in engineering and design of control systems, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
