OUR TEAM Every high-quality product is backed by a dedicated team focused on maintaining and enhancing quality standards while preventing bugs and defects from reaching end-users. As a QA Engineer at Trustly, you will explore and implement advanced testing tools to ensure our code performs optimally under various conditions. Your role will involve not only monitoring product quality at different stages but also developing scripts to validate the code implemented by our developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate features and bug fixes from the development team; Create and implement automated test cases for both backend and frontend applications; Identify and propose new test cases for automation based on regression issues; Research and recommend innovative quality improvement strategies and testing tools; Participate actively in sprint planning and scrum meetings; Collaborate closely with development teams and product management to enhance existing products; Uphold standards for reliability and performance in production environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; Proficient in automation, with knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and database management; Relevant experience in quality assurance beyond just testing; Familiarity with large software systems using Java, JavaScript, or .Net; Comfortable with Agile methodologies (daily stand-ups, test-driven development, etc.); Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium; Experience with object-oriented development; Proficient in SQL; Understanding of Gitflow processes; Experience in documentation for business processes and training; Strong communication skills in English; Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; A collaborative team player.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo; Experience with JMeter and other performance testing tools; Quality and process-oriented mindset.
