Position: Associate Finance Specialist

We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Finance area. This person will serve as the central liaison between the Global finance team and the Local office, translating business requirements seamlessly between local and global contexts.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining relationships with current and future local accountancy providers and ensuring delivery of financial accounts and tax compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Preparing month-end reporting, including posting month-end close journals, such as payroll, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensuring management reporting ledger matches statutory ledger managed by local accountancy provider.
  • Reporting and discussing financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting in Brazil, supported by the Global Finance team.
  • Working with the Financial Reporting team in the UK to enact corrections and additional postings required for year-end reporting, reviewing and clearing down all financial systems.
  • Reviewing employee expense claims to ensure adherence to company policies.
