Job Description

A behavioral therapist provides home-based therapy to toddlers, preschool and school-age children. The job involves implementing various strategies and procedures to reduce behavior issues, enhance communication skills and promote social skills development.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills. You will work closely with parents, caregivers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for children.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct home-based direct 1:1 therapy sessions.
  • Implement ABA strategies and collect data to track progress.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. You should also have a background in psychology or a related field, and experience working with children is highly desirable.

  • Ability to navigate electronic platforms to accommodate telehealth service models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
