Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in designing and implementing high-quality backend systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain code using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a senior role
  • Deep knowledge of PHP, including PHP 8+ and the modern PHP ecosystem
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
  • 4+ years of experience working on large-scale SaaS applications
  • Strong understanding of database design and query optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What You'll Bring
  • You have 5+ years of professional experience with PHP, including PHP 8+ and the modern PHP ecosystem
  • You have deep experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
  • You have 4+ years of experience working on large-scale SaaS applications
  • You are well-versed in various design patterns and know where to apply them
  • You have deep experience crafting optimized RDBMS queries
  • You have experience leading technical discovery, architectural planning, and technical scoping on your team
  • You have a high bar for quality and hold yourself and your peers accountable to it
  • You proactively take on challenges from start to finish
  • You're good at unblocking yourself and your team to keep things moving
