Clinical Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Team Lead to join our organization. As a global leader in clinical development solutions, we provide pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers with expert guidance across various therapeutic areas.


Job Overview

A Clinical Team Lead is responsible for delivering clinical research trials. They work as Clinical Project Managers within project teams and partner with Project Managers and other functional leads to ensure successful trial delivery within contractual requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively drive clinical project performance towards contracted deliverables while meeting customer needs and maintaining operational excellence.
  2. Drive communication and collaboration with clients and project teams across matrixed, multicultural environments.
  3. Lead the development of clinical project strategies and ensure prioritization with clinical project teams and stakeholders in creating clear, data-driven strategies and proactive management of project scope, timelines, quality, and resources.
  4. Identify clinical project risks using end-to-end risk management practices and quality by design principles.
  5. Utilize data sources, dashboards, and risk management strategies to drive innovation and proactive problem-solving with project and client teams.
  6. Adhere to project governance and issue escalation pathways, ensuring that clinical project plans address identified risks while adhering to professional standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Partner with project team members and key stakeholders to oversee and manage clinical project resources, scope, and timelines.
  8. Ensure accurate clinical resource projections are visible to resourcing teams, proactively escalating resource constraints and challenges.
  9. Develop and mentor team members in multiple areas of expertise and provide feedback as needed to respective line managers.
  10. Participate in and oversee regulatory/ethics committee submissions, tracking, and documentation as required.
