Linux Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Linux Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Linux Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and expertise to customers and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure high-quality customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders via telephone, email, and web channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, ensuring shared knowledge and lessons learned are available to customers and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of new technical notices and communications, enhancing internal and external knowledge sharing.
  • Prioritize work to achieve the most important and urgent tasks first, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving products and services, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or alternative path with compelling narrative.
  • Confidence in speaking up, exchanging feedback, and sharing ideas without hesitation.
  • Track record of exceeding expectations to deliver outstanding results.
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting, collecting logs, and stack traces.
  • Knowledge or basic hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas: Linux server administration, programming fundamentals, networking, virtualization/cloud computing.
