About the Role:

This senior backend engineering role involves migrating authorization logic from a Ruby on Rails monolith to Go-based microservices.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying new features for the Go-based authorization microservice.

  • Migrate authorization logic into new services.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless permission flows.
  • Contribute to the health and maintenance of backend infrastructure and custom libraries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional backend software development experience.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Go (Golang) including idioms and best practices (5+ years in production).
  • Proficiency with Ruby on Rails for working with legacy logic.
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
