Job Objective

To prepare and coordinate equipment projects for both onshore and offshore applications, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and current regulations while optimizing quality standards, costs, and timelines. This role also involves maintaining the organization and records of engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design offshore and subsea structures and equipment.
  • Interpret and critically assess customer specifications.
  • Develop and execute production planning, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Prepare equipment projects, ensuring adherence to customer requirements, applicable standards, and current design regulations.
  • Promote continuous project improvement.
  • Identify knowledge related to new technologies and products that can enhance design value.
  • Apply cost management principles to design, material specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Recognize sustainability, energy efficiency, and ergonomic requirements to achieve high performance in designed equipment.
  • Ensure the quality and accessibility of engineering documents.
  • Utilize departmental resources sustainably and within budget constraints.
  • Provide expertise in design and calculation tools, applications, best practices, and relevant standards.
  • Contribute positively to the team's motivational environment.
  • Develop design guidelines, instructions, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • CREA certification.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience in equipment project management.
  • Background in subsea structures and/or equipment projects, along with manufacturing processes.
  • Experience as a FEA User - Ansys.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor is desirable.
