Legal Compliance Expertise Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Legal Compliance Manager to lead our compliance efforts in Brazil.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance on various matters related to our logistics business, including compliance issues and negotiation discussions.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working with internal stakeholders and external counsel on a variety of legal matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal support for business development, network construction, and operation;
  • Researching and analyzing new business opportunities and models, and providing legal advice and risk analysis;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and legal documents, as well as assisting with commercial negotiations and contract execution;
  • Selecting high-quality external law firms and managing their work;
  • Providing legal support for daily operations of local entities in Brazil.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in law from a top-ranked law school in Brazil, with bar admission;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading law firms or multinational environments, preferably with experience in Chinese companies;
  • Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, and/or cross-border e-commerce;
  • Excellent English, Portuguese, and Mandarin language skills (Mandarin is a plus);
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
