Job Overview


As a seasoned Procurement professional, you will be responsible for building strategic category plans that drive business value and innovation. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities


- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies meet business needs and drive adoption
- Identify industry trends and incorporate them into category strategies to maintain relevance and sustainability
- Partner with suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage compliance, and deliver on savings and innovation targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, finance, and legal teams
- Analyze data and insights to inform procurement decisions and optimize processes

Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field
- Proven track record of delivering results in procurement and category management roles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications


- Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Medical Technology sectors
- Credibility with internal customers and suppliers, based on broad experience and expertise
- Track record of participating and leading cross-functional teams
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
