**Job Title:** Physical Education Teacher
About the RoleThe school is seeking a qualified Physical Education Teacher to implement the extracurricular curriculum and use a consistent teaching methodology to enable students to reach their potential.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans, which will be reviewed by the Head of Department
- Teach Physical Education lessons according to the curriculum, including developing and implementing drills and activities as per the SABIS Point System
- Train students for competitions, including developing written practice plans, performance tracking, and associated departmental reports
- Judge competitions between schools and attend scheduled Saturday activities on campus
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and report infractions to the Supervisor/Head Supervisor
- Remain actively involved in extra-curricular activities
- Hold an updated lifesaving certificate to teach swimming
- Assist students in developing an active lifestyle
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in teaching Physical Education
- Able to implement the SABIS teaching methodology
