Safety Engineer Sr

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer Sr to join our team at Gerresheimer. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze work methods and processes to identify potential hazards and risks
• Develop and implement effective safety protocols to mitigate risks and prevent accidents
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in occupational health and safety or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and ISO 45001
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
