Job Title: Senior Mobile Application Architect

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Architect to lead the development of a new digital health platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mobile app architecture, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
  • Develop high-quality React Native features, adhering to performance and security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend and design, to deliver HIPAA-compliant apps.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, bringing expertise in best practices and influencing technical direction.
  • Ensure smooth release processes for App Store/Google Play, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and mobile analytics frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of recent React Native experience at production scale.
  • Strong proficiency with React Native (TypeScript) and modern state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, navigation, performance tuning, offline-first workflows, and background tasks.
  • Experience with native iOS/Android modules (bridging, push notifications, secure storage).
  • Proven ability to design and deliver apps meeting security and compliance standards (secure data storage, encryption, RBAC).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with GCP, Firebase, or mobile analytics frameworks.
  • Hands-on work with GraphQL (Apollo Client) and secure API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of mobile accessibility (WCAG) and performance monitoring tools.
