Transportation Manager, Amazon Transportation Services

Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transportation Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage transportation carrier performance, including on-time truck performance and linehaul impact on customer experience.
- Develop and implement performance metrics for transportation programs, ensuring consistent measurement and accountability.
- Communicate effectively with external customers (carriers) and internal customers (fulfillment centers, supply chain, procurement, finance, Amazon Logistics).
- Escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Design short- and medium-term solutions to improve transportation performance and quality.
- Analyze existing trucking capacity versus forecasted capacity requirements, particularly during seasonal peak times.
- Work with supply chain teams to improve network design and meet best-in-class cost and customer experience results.
- Prepare business metrics for regular operations calls, business reviews, and other meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Science, or Engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prepare and interpret large datasets.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with ability to communicate effectively at varying levels of seniority.
- Significant previous work experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, and/or e-commerce.
