Job Opportunity: Payments Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payments Specialist to support our Global Supplier Payments Operations in Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier payments through ERP systems and bank portals
  • Focus on transactions for LATAM and UCAN regions, with the possibility of extending to EMEA and APAC regions
  • Provide backup support to regional Payment Specialists
  • Perform payment and bank reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve payment returns and rejections, implementing process improvements based on root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with the Global AP Payments team on various tasks
  • Participate in key initiatives for supplier invoice payments, including testing host-to-host (H2H) payment integrations with banks
  • Work closely with the Financial Applications Team to troubleshoot system issues related to the AP Payments process
  • Align with cross-functional teams to improve and scale payments volumes
  • Research and implement tools to enhance payment accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with monthly Accounts Payable close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Stay up-to-date on domestic and international banking trends, country and currency requirements for payments
  • Manage inquiries in ticketing systems and respond to payment verification requests
  • Perform ad hoc duties, such as audit and support for Finance, Tax, and SOX teams
