Key Responsibilities

Our team is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer Leader to spearhead the development of cutting-edge personalization systems. As a technical leader, you will oversee a team of engineers, driving both technical excellence and business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of machine learning engineers in designing and implementing next-generation personalization systems.
  • Architecting multi-stage ranking systems that integrate retrieval, ranking, and re-ranking capabilities.
  • Defining technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives and driving improvements in model quality, system reliability, and development velocity.
  • Establishing best practices for model development and deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing hands-on to critical model development.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • At least 7 years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a minimum of 2 years leading technical teams.
  • Deep expertise in large-scale personalization systems, including modern ML architectures such as two-tower, transformer-based, and graph neural networks.
  • Strong system design skills for machine learning infrastructure, as well as the ability to mentor engineers and drive technical decisions.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience in adtech, e-commerce, or content platforms.
  • Published papers or significant machine learning contributions.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning for personalization.
