Procurement Excellence Wanted

We're seeking a diligent professional to drive purchasing activities for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics or IT hardware procurement, focusing on cost optimization and supply chain efficiency.

This role is essential in ensuring timely availability of components and materials needed for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors for components and materials, build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure favorable terms
  • Purchase Order Processing: Generate and process purchase orders according to production schedules and inventory requirements, monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Cost Control: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to optimize procurement costs, regularly conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor stock levels and initiate purchases to prevent shortages or excess inventory
  • Quality Assurance: Work with QA department to ensure all purchased materials meet quality standards, manage non-conformance issues with suppliers
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends affecting component availability and pricing, anticipate supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records and update the ERP system, prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in electronics or IT hardware industry
  • Knowledge of electronic components and storage products preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
