We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including medical evaluation, treatment, counseling, and referrals.
- Collaborate with attending physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement appropriate patient management and treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
- Coordinate and communicate patient care effectively with other healthcare professionals and institutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
Work Environment: The selected candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced cath lab environment, assisting with MI alerts, admissions, periprocedural orders, discharges, and managing post-procedure site complications.
Continuing Education and Professional Development: Must be able to maintain required continuing medical education and stay up-to-date with best practices in cardiology.
