Productivity Product Manager Role

The Application Foundation Team is responsible for improving efficiency across SAP and enabling the Engineering Teams to deliver value to customers.

This role drives measurable improvements in engineering productivity through the harmonization of internal platforms and streamlined processes.

Key responsibilities include evaluating, standardizing, and supporting the rollout of internal and third-party tools that enhance developer productivity.

Collaboration with various teams across the organization is essential to define and implement scalable solutions that support product standards and operational excellence.

Designing and implementing standardized processes across Application Foundation ensures consistency, compliance, and scalability in engineering practices.

Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering productivity, tool adoption, and process efficiency is also a critical aspect of this role.

Leadership skills are required to drive change management initiatives and facilitate the adoption of new tools and practices.

  • Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills are necessary to share and communicate ideas at various levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering both internal and external-facing features and projects is expected.

  • BA/BS/MA/MS/PhD in a business or technical field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional experience in a global enterprise software company is preferred.
