Senior Data Engineer

">Overview

Join us as a Senior Data Engineer to work on state-of-the-art, cloud-scale distributed systems at the intersections of networking, cloud security and big data. As part of our Digital Experience Management team, you will be responsible for designing and building critical infrastructure for global Fortune 100 companies.

The Role

Our team focuses on building and optimizing systems that span data ingestion, processing, storage optimization and more. We collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to build highly scalable systems that tackle real-world data problems and provide accurate, real-time solutions to our customers' ever-growing data needs.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing planet-scale distributed data platforms, services and frameworks including solutions to address high-volume and complex data collections, processing, transformations and analytical reporting
  • Collaborating with application development teams to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models
  • Translating business requirements into long-term data models supporting optimized solutions
  • Analyzing data system integration challenges and proposing innovative solutions
  • Researching effective data designs, new tools and methodologies for data analysis
  • Providing technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a proven track record of designing and coding scalable distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong algorithm, data structure, and coding skills with Python, Go, C++ and/or Rust, as well as proficiency in networking protocols and network security.
