- Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitable project outcomes.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, securing favorable terms and adhering to legal standards.
- Administer major infrastructure contracts and manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular commercial reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to optimize delivery and cost efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, including regulatory, environmental, and stakeholder-related risks.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineer, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management).
- Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, PMP) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in commercial roles within infrastructure construction.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure contract frameworks and public procurement processes.
Proficiency in commercial software (MS Excel, SAP, Oracle Primavera) and excellent communication skills are essential. Leadership and team development abilities are also required.
