We are seeking a skilled Release Engineer CI/CD to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Engineering department in Sao Paolo, Brazil, you will play a critical role in maximizing engagement metrics for our digital properties and optimizing software release configurations according to customer requirements worldwide.

  • Execute tracking and alignment of software components on solutions
  • Track component versions, branches, and merges – advanced GIT user (GIT maintainer as a benefit)
  • Approve merges to the branch, including merge conflict resolution
  • Prepare release documentation: Release Notes, Proof of tests, installation notes
  • Track and manage solution configurations
  • Ticket management
  • Maintain CI/CD with DevOps team assistance – Jenkins advanced user as a benefit
  • Run, monitor, and perform pipeline first triage
  • Involve respective teams to keep CI/CD green on daily basis as POC
  • Change management (CRs & HF) – Coordination of new scope and fix issue plans
  • Manage change lifecycle
  • Work with ITMSO on SIS plan build and validation
  • Prepare production and non-production environment updates: communication plan, installation plan, roll-back plan, and others as required
  • Run production and non-production environment updates: HF/DF/Maintenance patch deployment
  • Manage deployment issues and troubleshooting
  • POC for internal release management, alignment of installation plan with stakeholders (Configuration / Environment support / Deployment Management / Solution delivery / Customer support)
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with SW release and configuration activities
  • Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration and development – CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker)
  • Very good English skills (verbal/writing)
  • Successful experience working with IT projects
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Availability to work shifts
  • Availability to work from the office in hybrid mode either from Sao Paulo or Campinas office
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
