Job Title:

Site Operations Manager

This is a critical leadership role that oversees daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of professionals, coordinating resources and equipment to optimize workflow, and minimizing downtime. They will also ensure compliance with safety protocols and foster a culture of awareness within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction activities, materials, and sequencing, as well as proven ability to guide and manage small site teams effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily site activities and ensuring project delivery
  • Coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to optimize workflow
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and fostering a culture of awareness
  • Reading and interpreting drawings to ensure correct execution and alignment with design intent
  • Maintaining accurate records of progress and workforce deployment
  • Supporting and motivating the team, resolving on-site issues, and escalating where required
  • Contributing to improvements in efficiency, cost control, and construction methods

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years in a supervisory or management role within the construction industry
  • Practical understanding of construction activities, materials, and sequencing
  • Proven ability to guide and manage small site teams effectively
  • Clear verbal and written communication with team members and engineers
  • Skilled in site planning, resource coordination, and drawing interpretation
  • Strong awareness of HSE principles and site compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); First Aider certification preferred
