Position Overview:
Lubrizol is seeking a seasoned marketing strategist to join our Americas LZA Marketing team. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the LATAM regional business and sales teams for Lubrizol Additives to formulate, implement, and assess marketing strategies that resonate with and engage our internal and external stakeholders in alignment with Lubrizol's mission, strategy, and values.
This position is part of the Americas Marketing team, which works in tandem with a broader global Marketing Communications team to execute regional marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to craft and implement marketing strategies, manage marketing plan components, and support the regional team while concentrating on global objectives and themes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Design, implement, and execute comprehensive marketing plans that promote Lubrizol additives in the Latin America region, ensuring alignment with global marketing goals. Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials, both regionally and globally.
- Content Creation and Management: Develop engaging and localized content for various marketing platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns. Tailor global content to suit local markets and cultural nuances.
- Marketing Tools Application: Utilize marketing tools and techniques to advise and assist customers in enhancing their marketing mix to meet their business objectives.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer insights, and competitor activities within the Latin America region. Analyze data to assess marketing campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Media Relations: Establish and nurture relationships with local media outlets and journalists to secure coverage and press releases. Collaborate with global PR teams to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize media visibility.
- Event Management: Organize and execute regional marketing events, trade shows, and conferences, overseeing logistics, booth design, collateral creation, and post-event evaluations.
- Digital Marketing: Formulate and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor digital analytics and optimize campaigns for optimal ROI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in partnership with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, technical teams, regional marketing teams, and marketing communications leadership, to align marketing strategies and ensure cohesive messaging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or commercial/product management, ideally in both B2C and B2B environments.
- Experience in the lubricant industry and/or OEM knowledge is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required.
- Extensive experience in project management and marketing plan development and execution.
- Ability to engage with diverse groups, build strong networks, and establish credibility within the organization.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a focus on conveying complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Capability to develop and influence innovative marketing concepts and techniques.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical and business issues and communicate them simply.
- Outstanding cross-functional leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Willingness to travel (regionally and potentially globally) up to 10%.
