Job Overview

We are seeking a talented professional to manage a team of consultants across various offices and practices. This role will involve scheduling, performance management, and building relationships with each consultant to understand their strengths, development objectives, personal preferences, and career goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Talent Management: Utilize the performance management process as a basis for engaging consultants on development needs and areas for training.
  • Develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor.
  • Provide guidance on career advice and assist in escalating employee relations issues or questions around Human Capital operations.
  • Monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Project Staffing: Understand the nuances of project work and roles being filled.
  • Liaise with project team leaders to comprehend staffing needs in your area.
  • Collect relevant details from partners and practice group managers on projects to be staffed.
  • Anticipate capacity issues and manage consultant and partner expectations accordingly.
  • Communicate staffing outcomes to consultants in an empathetic manner.
  • Consultant Development and Performance Management: Comprehend the performance management framework and competency model, and apply it to individual consultant situations.
  • Coordinate training with the Learning and Development team.
  • Review performance appraisals and address any issues or performance flags with project teams and managers.
  • Attend and contribute to annual Career Review meetings for consultants under your purview.
