Senior Backend Engineering Role

  • Design, develop, and deploy new features for the Go-based authorization microservice.
  • Migrate authorization logic from the Ruby on Rails monolith into new, independent services.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and meets their needs.
  • Contribute to the health and maintenance of backend infrastructure and custom libraries.

Must have skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years of professional backend software development experience.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Go (Golang), including idioms and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Ruby on Rails for working with and migrating legacy logic.
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have skills:

  • Knowledge and passion for authorization logic (RBAC, ABAC).
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cutting-edge Go-based authorization microservices.
  • Streamline authorization processes by integrating existing Ruby on Rails codebase.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
