Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled backend developer to join our team.

In this role, you will work closely with front-end developers to support feature development, focusing on backend implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NodeJS, specifically NestJS, including implementing backend functions to support front-end features.

  • Implementing backend functions to support front-end features using NodeJS and NestJS.
  • Managing database queries and updates using PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with:

  • Unit and integration testing using Jest.
  • AWS and Terraform (a plus).
  • Github Actions (a plus).
Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building backend functions that feed into the UI, managing database queries and updates, and writing tests to ensure stability and reliability.

Our system allows for seamless deployments using Github Actions, so you'll work alongside our DevOps team to ensure your code is properly deployed.
