Job Title: Agriculture Test Engineer

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is seeking a skilled Agriculture Test Engineer to lead the testing of hardware and software for our Agriculture products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing software and systems test practices while maintaining and expanding the Test Infrastructure depended on by the engineering groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated and manual software testing suites for Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning's agriculture products
  • Promote and lead best practices across software and systems testing
  • Define, develop, and carry out test processes and tools
  • Test all software delivered as per defined test schedules and processes, including documentation
  • Participate and contribute to Hexagon A&P's test engineering community of practice
  • Develop, iterate, monitor, and report performance and contextual metrics
  • Create data characterization models using statistics, mathematics, and data analytics
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Python programming and scripting tools
  • Experience in GNSS technology and products
  • Experience working with source control repositories like GitLab or GitHub
  • Experience with test automation and/or worked within a formal software testing environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to produce high-quality test reports, procedures, and other similar documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (English) to communicate at all levels
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
