Program Management Role

The Program Manager plays a vital role in driving success and achieving desired outcomes.

They identify and assemble the necessary resources to meet project/program needs and requirements, fostering an environment that promotes trust, self-development, continuous improvement, innovation, and quality results.

The Program Manager ensures a consistent level of quality, accuracy, compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of program requirements and scope, establishing metrics for measuring successful delivery, engaging with project and product teams, business partners, and stakeholders on key initiatives, and presenting RAID logs and roadmaps to resolve or mitigate project issues or risks.

The Program Manager coaches and counsels cross-functional teams to accomplish project/program goals, meets deadlines, and resolves technical/operational issues.

They administer the project change process, formulating contingency plans to address schedule revisions, risks, costs, and scope, while ensuring stakeholder alignment when addressing and implementing changes to the program/process.

The Program Manager maintains awareness of industry trends, practices, techniques, and emerging technologies related to the project management discipline.

They provide leadership to align and support global Program/Project Management community by identifying and sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.
