Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of Marine Plan Approval Intern in our Rio de Janeiro office.

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will provide support to the Plan Approval Team across various disciplines related to ship design and construction.
  • They will assist in the development of engineering studies and analyses for vessels.
  • Engineering activities, including calculations using dedicated technical software, will be performed by the intern.
  • The candidate will contribute to the preparation of technical documents, including calculations and reports.
  • Review and analysis of engineering documents to ensure compliance with project requirements, Class Rules, International Conventions, and applicable standards will also be part of their duties.
  • Administrative tasks related to project management and documentation will be supported by the intern.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a bachelor's program in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • A basic understanding of Class Rules, International Conventions, and Standards is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficiency in using a PC, including familiarity with common technical software, is necessary.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling, stability calculation tools, and FEM software is an advantage.
  • Good command of technical English (spoken and written) is expected.
