Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Automation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing. The specialist is responsible for designing, developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure that software applications meet the required standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber and Java to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
- Maintenance and Improvement: Maintain and improve the test automation framework to ensure it remains efficient and effective.
- Bug Identification and Resolution: Identify and report bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- QA Ownership: Take ownership of QA tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring that quality and reliability standards are met.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Maven.
- Automation Scripting: Experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
- Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Location and Time Zone: Located in LATAM with at least 6-7 hours overlap with US Central time.
- Language Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate English level.
