Senior Data Archiving Specialist

Assess and implement data archiving in SAP environments to optimize system performance and ensure efficient information management.
Key Responsibilities:- Map business processes to identify archive objects required for optimal data archiving.
- Conduct customer landscape analysis and estimate the archival impact on the system, providing high-level and detailed effort estimations.
- Develop expertise in integrating SAP Archival with other archival tools and define effective archiving strategies and methodologies.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Carry out comprehensive assessments of SAP systems, including database growth analysis and table analysis.
- Gain experience with DART, Archivelink, Archive object customization, and other related tools.
- Develop knowledge of third-party tools, such as Open Text, PBS, Documentum, and ReadSoft.
- Participate in at least two end-to-end SAP Archival implementations and work as a consultant on SAP Archiving activities.
This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. We strive to provide flexibility and support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.
Requirements:- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
