Vacant Position:

AI Technologist - Map Production Efficiency

We are looking for a talented and innovative AI technologist to join our team in Kristiansand. As an AI technologist, you will be responsible for exploring new methods and technologies to improve map production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You will work closely with our innovation team to develop and implement new solutions that leverage the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and test new technologies and concepts that can contribute to better quality and more efficient map production
  • Develop and execute Proof of Concept (POC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to evaluate new solutions quickly and effectively
  • Further develop and deploy successful POCs and MVPs into production
  • Collaborate closely with students to stimulate innovation and ensure continuous learning and development
  • Partner with relevant research environments
  • Bid to create a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and technological pioneering spirit

Requirements:

  • MSc degree in relevant fields such as computer science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Able to become security cleared
  • Good knowledge/experience in programming, preferably backend
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Desirable qualifications:
    • Data platforms
    • Geographic information systems (GIS)
    • Development or operation in line with DevOps principles (CI/CD, IaC etc.)
