Primary Years Support Teaching Assistant

This role is a fantastic opportunity to support the teaching team in our primary years, working closely with experienced educators to create engaging learning environments for students.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can provide excellent classroom support, assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and be able to adapt to the needs of our diverse student body.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. They will also be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to teaching staff in the delivery of lessons, including preparing materials and resources;
- Assist with the supervision of students during classes, playgrounds, and extra-curricular activities;
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures;
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills;
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging educational programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field;
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
