Hotel Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operative to join our Engineering Team. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: cleaning equipment, replacing light bulbs, and repairing minor issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls from guests and staff.
• Conduct regular inspection tours of the hotel to ensure all operating equipment is working correctly and identify potential safety hazards.

• Assist in maintaining all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition.
• Support the Engineering Department with general maintenance work and projects.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with guests.

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or a similar varied work environment such as ships, hospitals or retail businesses.
• A certificate in Engineering is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes.
