Focus, Scope & Impact
- As a Media Planning Senior Manager, you will:
- Develop strategic plans across brands/campaigns, recommending allocation of activation resources to different consumer/ shopper touchpoints
- Coordinate media buying with procurement teams, ensuring maximum value out of negotiations.
- Ensure we have the most effective and efficient media strategies for our brands, out-performing versus competitors in all brand program KPIs
- Control media investment (real vs planned), approving agency buying orders and invoices, and recommending corrective actions when necessary. Prepare budget evolution information (real vs planned investment) and revise and approve media buying POs sent to agencies and media.
- Support all auditing processes with media-related questions.
- Design, develop, and work on Strategic Initiatives that impact the business on recruiting intenders and neutrals faster.
- Recommend the ideal resource split by brand and channel to all of our portfolio of brands since ABP planning till all budgets revisions needed.
- Constantly check and report on current status of our brand presence in various channels: copy rotation, kids policy, productivity, brand safety, among others.
- Partner with procurement teams to track and evolve existing media and digital measurement discipline, ensuring maximum utilization of existing protocols and tools, and leveraging learnings for each market within the organization.
- Work in partnership with field leadership and bottlers to ensure we capture the right opportunities in each country in Latin America.
Key Success Parameters
Experience
- Media strategy, planning, and buying experience (10-12 years)
- Experience working in agencies and/or media vehicles is preferred
- Preference for experience developing non-conventional communication plans, with heavy focus on digital marketing and storytelling with clear results
- Ability to provide input to brand and creative strategy at category level
- Deep understanding of the evolved media landscape and e-commerce
- Develop gameplan as LATAM media lead of the E2E responsible for the category
- Expertise in working with different external partners (i.e. agencies, media partners, influencers)
- Ability to work in Agile cross-functional teams and be adaptable
- Role will also interact frequently with external parties, particularly agencies and media companies
- Fluent English and Portuguese are required;
