Movement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our organization.
This is a temporary position, working 13 weeks, and is responsible for helping patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function.
- Conduct comprehensive patient examinations/evaluations at the initial visit upon receipt of referral.
- Reassess patients at a minimum of every 30 days, making necessary revisions to their plan of care in conjunction with the physician.
- Provide physical therapy patient/client management, including interventions in accordance with the physician-approved plan of care.
- Document each visit according to accepted regulatory standards for inclusion in the patient's clinical record.
- Coordinate care by participating in interdisciplinary teams and observing, recording, and reporting patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition.
- Identify patients' needs for other disciplines and services, initiating appropriate referrals and providing resources for future needs.
- Act as a consultant to other care providers as needed.
- Complete OASIS assessments timely, accurately, and according to user manual definitions.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with applicable municipal, state, and federal rules and regulations.
