Senior Tax Analyst Role

The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key part in expanding access to payments and technology in various markets worldwide.

This position involves working with cutting-edge technologies, artificial intelligence, and innovative solutions to transform the future of payments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial data flows, and tax reporting processes.

They should also possess advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with ERP tools being a significant advantage.

This is a senior-level role that requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will work effectively across multiple teams in a global environment and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a systematic reconciliation process to compare tax data reported by internal accounting and reconciliation teams with the data from tax authorities.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances in tax data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Accounting and Reconciliation teams to identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability.
  • Monitor key tax-related metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Proven experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in tax-related reconciliation, is required.

Experience in fintech or high-growth tech companies and global operations in multiple tax jurisdictions are highly desirable.

Advanced Spanish language skills are necessary, while knowledge of SQL, automation tools, and/or data visualization tools is considered a bonus.
