Agricultural Support Specialist

About the Role:

This role involves delivering technical assistance to various stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

  • Onboard new partners by providing hardware and software support.
  • Offer timely and efficient technical support via email, phone, web conferences, and in-person meetings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with resellers and clients, ensuring they receive product updates and technical support.
  • Analyze problems to resolve product-related issues, including testing, troubleshooting, and identifying bugs and potential enhancements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams as a technical expert/consultant for precision agriculture.
  • Develop and update training materials to enhance knowledge sharing.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A degree in Agricultural Engineering, Geomatics, Precision Agriculture, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in customer service, technical support, or technical training in agriculture machinery, positioning/navigation, LiDAR mapping, unmanned surveying, construction engineering, GIS, land surveying.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and professional English language skills – written and oral.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent analytical abilities.
  • Presentation and public speaking skills, including training and technical demonstrations.
  • Ability to learn new computer applications.
Travel Requirements:

Some travel is required for business partner or customer locations, trade shows, visiting strategic accounts, and other regional trips to support the team.
