Outbound Logistics Manager Job

This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing the outbound process from order fulfillment to last-mile delivery preparation.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that millions of packages are processed efficiently and prepared for timely delivery. This individual must have excellent leadership skills, as they will be managing a diverse team of associates and optimizing processes to drive continuous improvement in our outbound and delivery operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing work forecasts and setting productivity targets to meet overall building objectives
  • Overseeing the outbound process from order fulfillment to last-mile delivery preparation
  • Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time dispatch and first-day delivery success

Additionally, this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as the individual will be responsible for identifying and leading process improvement initiatives using lean tools and analyzing metrics to find root causes and drive operational enhancements.
