Senior Infrastructure Engineer

  • Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure environments for maximum performance.
  • Lead critical infrastructure projects, including migrations from cloud to on-premises and cloud to cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
  • Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automated provisioning and management.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams on Kubernetes container workload infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance on infrastructure best practices and standards.
  • Evaluate and implement infrastructure management tools to enhance current deployment.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.
  • Strong experience managing hybrid workloads across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher.
  • Experience with Morpheus or similar cloud management platforms.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Background in security compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Work Environment:

  • Remote position requiring occasional meetings across global time zones.
  • On-call rotation participation required for critical infrastructure issues.
