Software Architecture Opportunity

This role is a 100% remote opportunity with flexible daily/weekly hours. As a Software Architect contractor, you will be key in shaping the backbone of our marketplace framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and strengthen module isolation to reduce hidden coupling.
  • Promote a stronger event-driven architecture, utilizing pub/sub over direct calls.
  • Lay the foundation for customization, moving from fragile inheritance overrides toward clear extension hooks, composition patterns, and well-documented integration points.
  • Making the platform easier to scale, extend, and maintain, both for our team and external developers.
Tech Stack:
  • Backend & Core: Node.js (TypeScript) - Fastify for REST, Apollo for GraphQL, TypeORM, Redis, PostgreSQL.
  • Side deps: chalk, chokidar, commander, winston, class-transformer, class-validator.
  • Frontend: Next.js v15 & React v19.

Strong expertise in composable modular architecture and event-driven design is required to support the next evolution of our platform.
