Job Description

We are seeking a detail-driven and organized professional to join our team as a Capital Sourcing Specialist. The role requires someone who is skilled at online research, comfortable making high-volume phone calls daily, and adept at gathering and analyzing information.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing potential capital providers for commercial real estate debt and equity brokerage, with a focus on the U.S. market. This includes conducting targeted research across multiple channels to uncover lender and investor criteria and then reaching out by phone to qualify their interest in active opportunities.

This position offers the chance to develop expertise in real estate capital markets while making a direct impact on the growth of our firm. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members to align outreach efforts with active deals and capital-raising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement deal-specific outreach strategies (cold calling and email campaigns) to gauge interest in active opportunities and nurture them toward further discussions.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified capital providers and our senior team, ensuring a smooth handoff for follow-up discussions.
  • Conduct introductory calls with lenders and investors to capture high-level criteria, including preferred loan types, deal sizes, and geographic focus.
  • Review lender websites, industry databases, and online resources to identify, update, and validate current lending programs and parameters.
  • Review and update existing capital provider investment parameters in our CRM, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with senior team members to align outreach efforts with active deals and capital-raising initiatives.
  • Prepare and share weekly progress updates on outreach activities, database updates, and key findings from conversations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, lender activity, market conditions, and competitor movements within the U.S. commercial real estate sector; provide valuable insights to the team.
Requirements
  • 2+ years in research, business development, sales support, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in real estate, finance, or capital brokerage, particularly within the U.S. commercial real estate market.
  • Fluent in English (C1 or higher), with strong verbal communication skills and confidence in making professional outreach calls.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of outreach calls each week.
  • Skilled in gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information from databases, websites, and direct conversations.
  • Skilled at leveraging online research tools (including websites, LinkedIn, and industry databases) to source and evaluate capital providers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using cold-emailing and calling tools, and best practices.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
