Senior DevOps Reliability Engineer

A DevOps reliability engineer is needed to enable efficient delivery and reliable operations of products in all environments. The role involves infrastructure, configuration, and pipeline automation, as well as availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
About the RoleThis position requires a candidate who can engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement. The ideal candidate will build software to improve DevOps, ITOps, and support processes, including "everything" as code models such as "Infrastructure as code" and Platform as a service.
Responsibilities- Perform safe and reliable deployments of software artifacts into various systems.
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Analyze system problems, including root cause determination, and manage recovery processes to ensure quick restoration of service without data loss.
- Work with other teams to improve operations and collaboration, enabling cross-team efficiencies.
- Participate in migrating products from DataCentre to Cloud (AWS) and Cloud-Native DevOps.
- Experience working under Scrum methodology.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer interface and communication.
- Deep knowledge of version control, including GIT compatible version control.
- DevOps processes and tools that enable MicroService development.
- Experience building Docker containers and managing Kubernetes deployments.
- CICD implementation expertise, including Jenkins/Groovy.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Groovy, PowerShell, or similar.
- Experience deploying and managing Windows Servers, including Networking and Security knowledge.
- Experience deploying and managing Unix/Linux platforms.
- Use of monitoring and logging tools, such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar.
