">Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing essential support to the medical team, patients, and the infusion center. As a Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them and ensuring they have a positive experience.

You will assist medical staff with various tasks, including rooming patients, updating charts, and communicating with providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

In addition, you will provide administrative and front-end support, greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage phone calls, and process payments.

Other responsibilities include overseeing efficient turnover of exam rooms, assisting providers in the exam room as requested, collecting and preparing lab specimens, and ordering supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • 6 months of clinical experience required
  • 1 year in an administrative or customer service role preferred
  • Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as needed
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Computer skills for electronic recordkeeping required
